Open Auto Transport

Open auto shipping is usually done with a 10 cars carrier, with 5 cars at the bottom and 5 cars on top. The vehicles shipped with an open trailer are exposed to certain elements like wind, dirt, dust, dust, snow, ice, rain and hail. In open carriers, the car is protected by one or two chains enfolded around the cars tires. Open carriers are cheaper, lighter and can carry more vehicles.



Enclosed auto transport

Enclosed auto transport is much more costly than open auto transport. In enclosed auto transport only 2 or 3 cars shipped in the same truck more over they are not exposed to any elements. Enclosed shipping is best suitable for classic, exotic, or high end luxury cars. Enclosed carriers require special safety measures to keep the vehicle inside from sliding around and getting damaged.
